A city hall or civil ceremony often calls for a lighter bridal look: a shorter dress, a smaller guest list, a walk through the city afterwards. This collection brings together the pieces we make for those weddings, all handmade in our Paris atelier: short tulle veils, birdcage veils, and silk pieces worn at the shoulders instead of a veil.
Short and fingertip tulle veils
Toi et Moi is our shortest tulle veil, 44 inches (110 cm) long including a 20 inch (50 cm) blusher. Pour Toujours falls to the fingertips, 78 inches (2 m) long including a 35 inch (90 cm) blusher. Both are made in English tulle on a light silver comb, and the blusher can be worn over the face or flipped back. See all our short and fingertip wedding veils.
Birdcage veils
Colette and Édith are birdcage veils in soft French netting. They sit at the hairline and graze the cheek or the eyes, and suit tea-length dresses, jumpsuits and sleek satin columns. See all our birdcage veils.
Silk instead of a veil
If you would rather keep your hair uncovered, our silk crepe bridal scarf drapes over the shoulders or ties at the nape, and the Mirage silk chiffon cape settles over the shoulders and leaves the front of your dress visible. For more ideas, see our wedding veil alternatives.
