Silk Bridal Accessories

Every piece in this collection is cut from 100% silk, left in its natural white and finished by hand in our Paris atelier. A silk chiffon wedding veil, a sheer cape, a mousseline wrap and a bias-cut crepe scarf: four ways to wear silk on your wedding day, each with its own weight, transparency and movement.

Chiffon, mousseline or crepe?

Silk chiffon is the lightest and most transparent: it falls close to the body, lifts when you walk and lets the gown show through, which is why we use it for the Aurore silk chiffon wedding veil and the Mirage bridal cape. Silk crepe is heavier, with a matte, slightly opaque finish, and holds a knot without slipping, so it suits a scarf worn at the neck. Promis is cut in silk mousseline and sized generously to be wound around the body, a light layer over the shoulders on a cooler evening.

Why real silk

Most chiffon veils on the market are polyester. Silk is lighter on the hair, softer against the skin and photographs with a matte, natural sheen rather than the slight shine of synthetic fabric.

Wearing silk together

Aurore and Mirage share the same natural undyed white silk chiffon, so the veil and the cape can be worn together. If you would rather keep your hair uncovered, the scarf and the wrap are gentle alternatives to a veil. See all our bridal shawls, scarves and capes, or our full range of wedding veils.

Caring for silk

For the Aurore veil, steam on a low setting from a distance to release creases, never iron directly, and dry clean only. Our bridal veil care guide explains how to store a veil after the wedding.

Frequently asked questions

Are all the pieces in this collection 100% silk?

Yes. Each piece is cut from 100% silk: silk chiffon for the Aurore veil and the Mirage cape, silk mousseline for the Promis wrap and silk crepe for the scarf.

What color is the silk?

Natural white. The Aurore veil, the Mirage cape and the Promis wrap are left in undyed silk.

Can I wear a silk scarf or wrap instead of a veil?

Yes. The silk crepe scarf and the Promis wrap are designed as alternatives to a traditional veil: they bring softness and movement to the look while leaving your hair uncovered.

Can I wear the Aurore veil and the Mirage cape together?

Yes. Both are cut from silk chiffon in the same natural undyed white, so the veil and the cape match when worn together.

How do I care for a silk wedding veil?

For the Aurore veil, steam on a low setting from a distance to release creases, never iron directly, and dry clean only.
