The Lace: A Scalloped Edge
Mon Amour is edged with a scalloped Calais lace, 6 inches (15 cm) deep, following the entire outline of the veil. Finer than the wide border of Avec Toi, it softens the edge of the tulle and frames the face with a light, romantic line. Like all our mantillas, the lace is woven on Leavers looms in northern France.
